Igor Grosu: "The Republic of Moldova is interested in fulfilling the nine recommendations from the EU"
The Republic of Moldova is interested in fulfilling all the nine recommendations and other requests from the European Union, so that it can count on the opening of accession negotiations at the end of 2023, says the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu.
In an interview for Agerpres, the official, who recently returned from Brussels, emphasized that one of the requests of the European Commission was the training of the ministries and agencies involved in the process of connecting our legislation to that of the European Union.
"We admit that we need to empower the ministries. We have added about 250 positions in the ministries that will be directly involved in the process of approximating the legislation. We have established a special position of Deputy Secretary General, responsible only for the dimension of European integration. Capacity development takes time, that's why we will benefit from the help of our Romanian colleagues", said Igor Grosu.
