MPs have decided: Natalia Gavrilița and Vitalie Lemne become members of the NBM Supervisory Board
Natalia Gavrilița and Vitalie Lemne have been appointed as members of the Supervisory Board of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) for a seven-year term. Their nominations were proposed to the plenary of Parliament following the competition for the selection of candidates for this position.
Seventeen people were admitted to the competition for the selection of candidates for the position of member of the Supervisory Board of the National Bank of Moldova. According to the competition rules, candidates must have at least 10 years of work experience in the financial, legal, auditing or in a scientific or academic position in these fields.
The NBM Supervisory Board consists of seven members, four of whom are appointed by Parliament. The term of office of the members of the NBM Supervisory Board is seven years, with the possibility of renewal.
At the end of July, the four terms of office of the members appointed by Parliament expire. Subsequently, two more candidates will be selected and appointed on a competitive basis.
