Comrat People's Assembly to vote on Executive Committee for sixth time
The Comrat People's Assembly will meet today for the sixth time to appoint the Executive Committee. Regional Governor Evghenia Guțul has posted on social media a new list of candidates for the committee.
The new list includes MP Ilia Uzun as first vice-chairman and Victor Petrov as vice-chairman.
The previous five attempts to appoint the Executive Committee failed after deputies raised concerns about technical mistakes, the presence of several people close to Ilan Shor's team, and the fact that some of the candidates failed the Gagauz language test.
