Ukrainian forces strike Russian Navy headquarters in Sevastopol

A missile attack took place on the headquarters of the Russian Navy in Sevastopol, Crimea, on the afternoon of September 22. A large number of ambulances were seen at the scene, said the alleged governor of the city, Mikhailo Razvozhaev, quoted by Unian.

According to him, Ukraine is to blame for the bombings. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have officially confirmed a strike on the headquarters of the Navy in Sevastopol.

It is not yet clear if there are any casualties, but the local population is urged to remain calm and not to post photos and videos.

Razvozhaev said that no one is allowed in the city centre. "The roads are closed, a series of special measures are in progress," he warned.

Before this explosion, three more were reported, but they were reportedly repelled by the air defence. The so-called governor blames Ukraine.

According to the Strategic Communications Department of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the target was hit as a result of a successful attack.

"Hit! On September 22, at around 12:00, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a successful strike on the headquarters of the command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol," the message said.

On the morning of September 20, the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed that they had successfully hit the command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation near Sevastopol.

In the night of September 21, the same structures carried out a special operation in occupied Crimea, hitting the Saki airfield with drones, Ukrainskaia Pravda also writes.

We also note that in recent months, Ukraine has intensified attacks on the Russian fleet, using both missiles and surface drones.

Among the most recent "achievements", listed by the Ukrainian press, are the long-term deactivation or even complete destruction of the submarine "Rostov-on-Don" and the large landing craft "Minsk", as well as the sinking of the patrol boat "Serhiy Kotov" and the missile boat "Samum".
