Explosion in a block of flats in Sibiu, Romania: Two people died
Two people died in an explosion today, followed by a fire, in an apartment block in Sibiu, Romania, writes Agerpres.
"The firemen managed to enter the apartment. So far, two dead victims have been found. Search and rescue operations are still underway inside the apartment. Firefighters are currently working to ventilate the apartment, as there is dense smoke. The fire has been extinguished", said the spokesperson of ISU Sibiu.
Also, the source writes, about 20 people were evacuated from the entire building, immediately after the fire broke out.
The police in Sibiu announce that traffic in the area was blocked.
