French defence minister visits Moldova

French Minister of Defense Sébastien Lecornu visits Moldova today at the invitation of Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi.

The agenda of the discussions includes topics on bilateral defence cooperation, the prospects for developing the Moldovan-French partnership, and other issues of common interest, the Ministry of Defense said.

It is worth noting that, recently, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană also visited Moldova. The official noted that both NATO and each NATO member country have good cooperation with Moldova.
