The National Program for the Study of Educational Robotics, implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, will be expanded to 50 more schools.
The selected institutions will be equipped with robotics kits.
"50 schools will become new members of the network and will be equipped with special robotics kits for middle and high school students. 10 educational institutions that are already included in the National Program for the Study of Educational Robotics will be selected for additional equipment for primary school classes. And 30 institutions already included in the program will also benefit from additional equipment," said Liliana Beleac, manager of the National Program for the Study of Educational Robotics, in an interview for the "Zi de Zi" (Day by Day) program on Radio Moldova.
Educational institutions will be selected based on several criteria, including the number of students, participation in training for robotics coaches, the possibility for the institution to contribute financially to the equipment with additional robotics kits, and access to the internet.
Schools that want to be part of the National Program for the Study of Educational Robotics can submit an application by October 8, 2023.
