The budget of Chisinau municipality for 2023, approved with a deficit of 500 million lei
Chisinau's budget for 2023 was approved on Tuesday in the first reading. The document was voted by 39 councilors. PAS and Liberal Party representatives voted against.
According to Infotag, the document foresees expenses of up to 7.3 billion lei, or 11% higher than this year. Revenues are estimated at over 6.81 billion lei. The largest allocations are provided for education - 3.8 billion lei. 1.2 billion lei are planned for the development of the housing and communal services sector.
