The National Army and American soldiers will conduct joint military exercises in the Republic of Moldova
On October 25, the National Army will start the Moldovan-American exercise "Aurochs Partner". It will take place at the Training Center of the "Decebal" Aviation Regiment in Mărculești, between October 25-30. More than 200 soldiers from the Special Purpose Battalion "Fulger" of the National Army and the United States Army will participate in the training.
According to the scenario, they will perform parachute jumps in the perimeter of the areas near the towns in Florești, Fălești and Bălți districts, reads a press release from the Ministry of Defense.
The source notes that the training will involve technical units from the National Army, as well as a military aircraft of the North Atlantic Alliance, the C-17 Globemaster.
The Ministry of Defense informs that during the exercise, the military equipment involved in the training will run on the roads of Florești, Fălești, Bălți and Sîngerei districts.
