The term of registration of peasant households could be shortened

The term of registration of peasant households could be shortened, and their registration certificate could be excluded. The provisions are contained in the draft amendment to the Law on Peasant Households, for which the members of the Agriculture and Food Industry Commission approved the report.

The document provides for the exclusion of the registration certificate of peasant households, and to confirm the state registration, the registration decision will be issued, reads a press release of the Parliament.

It is also proposed to replace the registration number with the state identification number (IDNO). At the same time, in order to properly manage data on peasant (farmer) households registered until January 1, 2023, it is proposed to assign the unique state identification number free of charge.

The draft law is also to be examined in the plenary session of the Parliament.
