The Republic of Moldova cooperates with Romania, but also with other countries of the world to evacuate our country's citizens from Israel and the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Dorin Recean said on Moldova 1 TV. According to him, the situation in the region is difficult.

"The situation is complicated, it is volatile, there are developments every half hour. The state institutions are keeping an eye on the developments there and as soon as possible the Republic of Moldova will recover our citizens. Both the Government and the Embassy are in permanent contact with the Embassies of all friendly countries of the Republic of Moldova. There are also many citizens of the Republic of Moldova who go to Israel, because the situation is stable there. The main problem is in the Gaza Strip where there are fights, military operations", said Dorin Recean.

We remind you that the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel is on high alert and works to provide assistance and support in these critical times. Only essential consular services such as issuing travel documents are currently provided.
