Two foreigners tried to enter the country with fake documents
Two fake driver's licenses were detected by border police officers from the Eastern Regional Directorate. The cases were recorded in the last two days.
According to a statement from the Border Police, at the common border crossing point Palanca - Maiaki-Udobnoe, on the way to the Republic of Moldova, a Ukrainian citizen tried to cross the border with a fake document. During the additional control, the border police detected the driver's license, claimed to be issued by the competent institutions in Ukraine.
The second case was detected at the Tudora border crossing point, on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova. It is about a 42-year-old citizen from Azerbaijan. In the same way, a fake driver's license was discovered on the foreigner, allegedly issued by the Azerbaijani authorities.
In their statements, both men said that the documents were obtained through legal means.
