The BCS deputy, Vlad Batrîncea, said that the fraction will no longer present another candidate to the Court, but will resort to protests and warn international bodies about this decision.

"Without any legal arguments, our candidate has no conflict with the mandate of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. We will no longer go to the Constitutional Court to get another mandate, we will resort to other forms of struggle, including in international bodies and protests. Our position is not publicized at all", declared Vlad Batrîncea.

The repeated boycott of the BCS was commented by the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, who asked the opposition MPs if the attendance at the meeting was motivated only by the salary.

"I ask myself the question, why did you come? To get salary for today. I say today's salary to stick to your throat, sorry for such a wish. What a shame to come and go, you didn't even manage to warm the seat", replied Igor Grosu.

We remind you that, on January 16, the Constitutional Court did not validate the deputy mandate of Svetlana Popa, an alternate candidate on the list of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. The mandate was declared vacant after deputy Adrian Lebedinschi gave it up to become a municipal councilor.
