Young entrepreneurs in Moldova now have a unique opportunity to hone their skills and gain valuable insights from seasoned business leaders across the European Union, thanks to the recent expansion of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program.

This crucial initiative, facilitated by Moldova's participation in the EU's Single Market program, signifies a commitment to fostering entrepreneurial talent and fueling economic growth within the country.

Veronica Bulba, a consultant at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, elaborated on the program's extensive benefits for aspiring Moldovan entrepreneurs:

Eligibility and Program Scope: The program welcomes ambitious individuals aged 18 and above who are either aspiring entrepreneurs at the initial stages of their business ventures or existing entrepreneurs seeking to refine their existing operations. Notably, the average participant age leans towards 28 for new entrepreneurs and 40 for host entrepreneurs, signifying a rich blend of youthful enthusiasm and seasoned expertise.

Global Reach and Industry Focus: With approximately 45 countries participating in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, Moldovan entrepreneurs enjoy access to a diverse pool of mentors and business environments. Top sectors witnessing active exchanges include advertising, education, architecture, IT, and tourism, catering to a wide range of entrepreneurial aspirations.
