The Republic of Moldova will benefit from financial support from Norway
This year, the Republic of Moldova will benefit from financial support from Norway for the implementation of several projects, including in the field of renewable energy and forestry, our country's ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, based in Stockholm, Liliana Guțan, told Radio Moldova.
"We received signals that there is interest in supporting the national reforestation program of the Republic of Moldova. The worrisome budgetary and macroeconomic situation will not change the profile of this country as a donor partner of the Republic of Moldova focused on technical aid and with expertise in areas such as hybrid threats, education and certain aspects of the green and energy transition. It is an important moment for us, for the Republic of Moldova and for our citizens, that the assistance we receive is related to our priorities and needs", said the diplomat.
Ambassador Lilian Guțan said that the other Nordic countries, the Kingdom of Sweden, Finland and Iceland will provide technical and financial assistance to our country.
