Serghei Tomșa, appointed as acting director of CFM
Serghei Tomșa was appointed general director of the Moldovan Railway (CFM). The announcement was made by the Public Property Agency. The decision was taken in connection with the fact that Tuesday, February 13, is the last day of Mr. Oleg Tofilat's mandate as general director of Î.S. "Căile Ferate din Moldova", as a result of the approval of the resignation request submitted at the end of this January.
We remind you that Oleg Tofilat resigned from the position of director of the enterprise "Calea Ferată din Moldova" on January 29. In a post on Facebook, Tofilat highlighted three main reasons that led him to submit his resignation. First, he expressed deep concern about the continuity of CFM's activities, stressing the need for liquidity and operational proficiency.
The director emphasized that the corporate tools at his disposal are not sufficient to satisfy these conditions, and essential measures, such as capitalization and sale of non-operating assets, are the responsibility of policy makers.
