Citizens will pay less for gas as of February 23

Citizens will pay by 3 lei and 60 bani less for a cubic meter of natural gas as of today, February 23. The decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the ANRE decision of February 21, household consumers will pay a rate of 13.39 lei, excluding VAT.

We remind you that the decision was taken after at the end of January "Moldovagaz" submitted to ANRE a request regarding the reduction of the average tariff for the supply of natural gas to final consumers.

According to the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, with the reduction of the natural gas tariff, the prices of electricity and thermal energy produced by the country's Thermal Power Plants could also decrease.
