The Russian Federation would like to impose on Ukraine the "Korean scenario" for the settlement of the war

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksi Danilov, claims that the Russian Federation wants to impose on Kiev the scenario of freezing its large-scale military aggression according to the "Korean scenario", establishing a status quo, which entails the division of the country, reports Rador.

Oleksi Danilov noted that the Ukrainian side is now being offered the "Korean option" - a conditional "38th Parallel" similar to the one that led to the separation of South and North Korea. "I mean here they are some kind of Ukrainians, and beyond that they are different Ukrainians. The Russians will now come up with anything. I know for sure that one of the options they can offer us is Parallel 38" - noted Oleksi Danilov. In this context, the official added that he recently spoke with the Korean representatives, who "consider it a big mistake that they made concessions and agreed on what was necessary for the sake of conservation, but today there are problems." The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine also stated that Dmitri Kozak, the deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation, participates in meetings with "politicians from the past of Europe" and, through them, "conveys messages that they are ready for many concessions only to establish a status quo in the present form of things, so as to force us to come to some kind of truce."
