Natalia Gavrilița: The agreement with Romania, regarding the delivery of a quantity of firewood for the Republic of Moldova will be signed this week
This week, an agreement will be signed with Romania regarding the delivery of a quantity of firewood for the Republic of Moldova. This was announced by the Prime Minister, Natalia Gavrilița, during a conference.
"The contract is being signed. We hope that this week we can receive these quantities that have already been brought closer to the border. We are following this situation, as I said, we had a limited number of calls to the green line, but we continue to monitor the situation through the territorial offices of the chancellery and through Moldsilva", said Natalia Gavrilița. We remind you that at the end of last year the Moldsilva Agency was empowered to negotiate wood purchase contracts from the Romanian agency Romsilva. The Commission for Emergency Situations announced that the company will discuss the conditions directly with the Romanian authority and sign the agreement. The obligation to receive and pay for firewood from Romania, but also to sell it later, will fall to the Chisinau and Balti forestry enterprises. The necessary money will be allocated from the Government Reserve Fund.
