20 farmers will benefit from grants under the "Sustainable Land Management" program
20 farmers from the Republic of Moldova will benefit from post-investment grants within the "Sustainable Land Management" program of the "Competitive Agriculture in Moldova" (MAC-P) Project. In this sense, the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) announces that it has completed the process of receiving files, informs the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).
The grants will reimburse 30% of eligible investment, with a cap of $10,000 per farmer.
Among the equipment eligible for financing are: seeders, shredders, sprinklers, harvesters (No-Till technologies), combines for the formation of strips (Strip-Till technologies), irrigation equipment and systems, hydrotechnical constructions for water capture, the establishment/ rehabilitation of windbreak strips, amelioration of degraded lands by afforestation, greening around trees in orchards.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, AIPA is making efforts to pay all the requests submitted as soon as possible.
