The European agenda of the Republic of Moldova, discussed by Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov with her Hungarian counterpart
The European path of our country and the actions taken by the Chisinau Government for the stage of bilateral screening and for the actual start of the accession negotiations were the topics addressed during the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov with the Minister for EU Affairs of Hungary , Janos Boka.
"I discussed our European agenda with my counterpart and I thanked the Hungarian authorities for their constant support of the European aspirations of the Republic of Moldova. I mentioned that we count on the same openness and ongoing support", said Cristina Gherasimov after the meeting.
The deputy prime minister also emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation with Hungary and other EU member countries, for successful European integration.
We mention that Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov is making a working visit to Budapest, on the occasion of Hungary taking over the rotating presidency of the European Union on July 1st.
