Raise a Glass to Spring! Moldova Wine Vernissage Returns
The National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV) is hosting the 21st Spring Edition of the Wine Vernissage, showcasing over 300 white and rosé wines from more than 70 Moldovan producers.
This year's event is themed "Give Spring Emotions" and features a new format designed to provide enhanced communication and networking opportunities for winemakers under the banner of the national wine brand "Wine of Moldova."
The 21st edition holds particular significance as it shines a spotlight on both the quality of Moldovan Wine and the opportunities it offers to winemakers and industry professionals. This spring, the traditional tasting format is being expanded to include B2B sessions, which aim to facilitate interaction between producers and distributors. This initiative aims to attract new business partners and enhance the image of Moldovan Wine.
A dedicated space will be provided for producers to showcase and promote their wines, allowing them to explore new distribution channels. Winemakers will also have the opportunity to connect directly with consumers, wine lovers, and enthusiasts, offering a wide selection of wines to cater to all palates.
New wines produced from the 2023 harvest will be launched at the event, and blended wines from previous vintages will also be available for tasting. Traditionally, guests at the event will receive a glass with the "Wine of Moldova" logo, specially created for wine tastings.
The Wine Vernissage will take place on May 17th at the Palace of the Republic. The event is organised by the National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV), with the support of USAID Moldova, through the Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova (PCRR), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
