Moldova Census: Over 2.5 Million Enumerated

Over 2.5 million people and more than 1.4 million dwellings have been enumerated in Moldova's Population and Housing Census as of Sunday, May 26th, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

The census, which is conducted every ten years, is the country's most important national statistical survey. It provides a comprehensive overview of Moldova's demographics and plays a crucial role in informing the nation's economic and social development plans.

The data collection for the census is ongoing and will continue until July 7th.
