Germany’s Minister of Defense is coming to Chisinau on Friday
The Minister of Defense from Germany, Boris Pistorius, will pay a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on Friday, May 31. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Government, Daniel Vodă. According to him, the German official will have a meeting with his counterpart from Chisinau, Anatolie Nosatîi.
"The Minister of Defense will have a meeting with his German counterpart, Boris Pistorius, who will be on a working visit to our country. Later, the two officials will participate in the reception ceremony of a batch of medical equipment, sent by the Federal Republic of Germany, and the vehicles previously received by the National Army from Germany", informed Daniel Vodă.
We remind you that, previously, Germany donated 19 Piranha armored vehicles to the Republic of Moldova, of which the last four were received at the end of last year. They were received to modernize the National Army, based on an Agreement signed between the two Ministries of Defense in October 2021.
