Romania: Bus full of students, involved in a road accident
A bus full of students was involved in a road accident in Vâlcea county in Romania on Saturday. The bus collided with a car, the driver of which was declared dead. Three children and the bus driver were transported to the hospital, informs new.ro.
"At 07:47 the Red Plan was activated, and after the arrival of the first crews and the medical evaluation of the passengers, it was deactivated at 07:57", the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations from Vâlcea reported.
The operative crews arrived at the scene and found that a car and a bus were involved in the road accident, in which there were 51 minors and five adults.
The passengers in the bus were medically evaluated - two minors suffered a panic attack, and the driver suffered burns.
The accident occurred on DN 67, in Tomșani, Vâlcea county. The bus was carrying students and teachers, the Infotraffic Center announced.
