Dorin Recean will pay a working visit to Greece: Diaspora, invited for discussions
Prime Minister Dorin Recean will pay a working visit to Greece on Monday, July 1. The prime minister's visit will start with a discussion with Moldovans in Greece.
"The diaspora is invited to talks with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who will tell the situation at home, the latest developments, perspectives. Also, we want to have an interactive exchange, so that the prime minister can better understand the situation, the problems of our diaspora in Greece and how can authorities help", said Andrei Popov, the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Athens, on his Facebook page.
The meeting with the diaspora will take place on Monday at 19:00 (local time) at the Cultural Center of Athens "Antonis Tritsis". According to Andrei Popov, the prime minister will have meetings with the representatives of the Greek leadership and will give a speech at an international conference.
Dorin Recean will also meet with businessmen from the Greek state.
This is the first visit of a Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova to Greece in the last 16 years.
