Training sessions may be rescheduled outside these specified hours or conducted indoors, provided that the indoor spaces are properly ventilated.

Representatives of federations and sports schools are asked to monitor meteorological warnings and, if necessary, adjust the training schedule accordingly.

“Each federation and sports school is responsible for informing athletes and parents about the increased sun exposure and, if applicable, the revised training schedule. The Ministry of Education and Research advises athletes to work closely with coaches and medical staff to ensure that sports are practised safely,” states the Ministry.

In the Republic of Moldova, an orange heatwave alert is in effect in the central and southern districts of the country. The maximum temperature reaches +36 to +37 degrees Celsius. Additionally, meteorologists have issued a yellow fire danger alert, valid until August 23.
