Construction accident in Chisinau: Six workers Injured
Six construction workers were injured in a serious fall at a construction site in the Botanica sector of the Moldovan capital. The incident occurred on the afternoon of August 26, around 2:14 PM.
Law enforcement officials determined that the workers were performing concrete reinforcement work on the second floor of a sports complex under construction. Preliminary investigations indicate that all six individuals were on duty at the time of the accident.
Emergency services, including a police crew, representatives of the Labor Protection Inspectorate, and the Technical Supervision Inspectorate for Construction and Urban Planning, responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the incident. A technical expertise is currently underway to clarify the exact cause of the accident.
An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the case and to hold those responsible accountable.
