Moldovan National Army celebrates 33rd anniversary with major events
On September 3, the National Army marks its 33rd anniversary.
According to Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi, “The National Army has been and will continue to be a pillar of society. Over time, it has undergone various reforms, and peace and the security of the citizens have always been its top priorities.”
“First and foremost, the National Army is about people—both men and women—dedicated to their oath of allegiance to the Homeland, national values, and the country of their birth. It is about those who laid the foundation of the defence institution and those who have contributed to its development over the past 33 years. Thanks to their efforts, the National Army has not only endured but has also established a strong reputation both nationally and internationally,” stated the Minister of Defense.
To celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the National Army's establishment, the Ministry of Defense has organised a series of activities scheduled for Saturday, September 7, in the capital and in various locations across the country.
In Chișinău, the events will take place in "Alunelul" Park in the Buiucani sector, beginning at 10:00 AM. Peacekeepers, athletes, students, doctors, and military engineers will be in attendance. The program will feature exhibitions of military equipment and technology.
Additionally, there will be sports competitions, surprises, and gifts for all ages.
Furthermore, on September 7, starting at 10:00 AM, events will be held in the northern and southern regions of the country.
