The joint meeting of the legal commissions of the Senate of Romania and the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova will take place today, January 20, in Pitesti, Argeș county, announced the interim president of the Romanian Senate, Alina-Ștefania Gorghiu on her Facebook page, after the meeting with the Parliament Speaker in Chisinau, Igor Grosu.

According to her, Romania will be with the Republic of Moldova in 2023 as well. Alina-Ștefania Gorghiu also said that Romania managed to secure 80% of the electricity needs of the Republic of Moldova and provided assistance on several levels, by creating the Support Platform for the Republic of Moldova, together with France and Germany. The Parliament Speaker of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, who is visiting Bucharest, expressed his gratitude, in the meetings held on Thursday with Romanian officials, for the help given "in these complicated times".
