Preparations for the National Wine Day. Road traffic will be suspended in the center of Chisinau
Road traffic in the center of Chisinau will be suspended starting tomorrow, at 4:00 p.m., and until Monday, at 5:00 a.m. The measure was taken due to the preparations for the "National Wine Day", the 23rd edition. Chisinau City Hall announced that several main streets will be closed, including Ștefan cel Mare and Sfânt boulevard, on the segment between Alexandr Pușkin and Maria Cebotari.
Traffic will also be suspended on Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni str., between Columna str. and 31 August 1989 str., for the entire duration of the event.
Public transport transiting the city center will be diverted to adjacent streets and drivers are advised to avoid the central area and to use alternative routes.
