Elections: ASP urges Moldovan citizens to check the validity of their identity documents

In the context of the October 20 election, the Public Services Agency (ASP) urges Moldovan citizens with the right to vote to check the validity of their identity documents.

For the issuance of identity documents, applicants can go to any multifunctional center of the Public Services Agency, regardless of the place of home registration and/or temporary residence.

Moldovans abroad can contact the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Moldova (MDOC). If there is no MDOC in the applicant's state of residence, that application can be submitted to any MDOC.

Also, the Public Services Agency informs Moldovan citizens with the right to vote, that on Sunday, October 20, the multifunctional centres will operate according to a special schedule: 7:00-21:00. At the request of citizens of the Republic of Moldova over the age of 18, provisional identity cards will be issued and ready-made identity cards will be handed over.

Applicants who applied for the issuance of the identity card between September 20 and October 17 can pick up the identity document until October 18, including if the deadline for the order exceeds this date, regardless of the fee paid.
