Alexandr Stoianoglo voted "for a free, stable and prosperous Moldova"

Alexandr Stoianoglo, the candidate of the Socialist Party in the presidential elections, cast his vote. He said he voted for a "free, stable and prosperous" country. In his statement, Stoianoglo reaffirmed that he advocates for the development of balanced relations with both the East and the West, advocating for fair and democratic elections.

"I voted for a free, stable and prosperous Moldova. A Moldova that respects its people, regardless of ethnicity, language spoken, religion, political vision. A Moldova that does not stand idly by, but develops relations with both the East and the West".

As for the allegations of vote-buying, Stoianoglo categorically denied these claims, noting that he and his party do not support vote-buying practices. The Socialist candidate is confident that these elections will reflect the genuine will of the citizens and urged the population to exercise their right to vote.

We remind you that the presidential runoff is held today in the Republic of Moldova. In the ballot paper there are two candidates established in order of decreasing number of votes scored in the first round:

Maia Sandu, designated by the "Action and Solidarity Party" Political Party; Alexandr Stoianoglo, designated by the "Party of Socialists from the Republic of Moldova" political party.

The presidential runoff will be monitored by more than 2,400 national and international observers accredited by the CEC.
