"Our vote will defeat electoral fraud": Prime Minister Dorin Recean cast his vote
Prime Minister Dorin Recean cast his vote. The Prime Minister says that he cast his vote "for peace, prosperity" and a European future of the Republic of Moldova. The official urged people to vote, or, he says, only in this way can democracy be protected.
"We are in a moment of attack from the criminals who bought a lot of votes, that's why, it is important to mobilize, to vote, because our vote will defeat the electoral fraud. Both the MFA and the other institutions are working intensively so that we can prevent this attack on democracy. Our vote will decide what is the future of the Republic of Moldova and today we must choose the leader who will lead us to prosperity, to the EU and life at home".
We remind that today, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova are voting for their president who will represent them in the next four years.
On social networks, photos of queues appear at some polling stations open abroad, but also at polling stations open for citizens on the left side of the Nistru. The General Police Inspectorate and the Promo-LEX Election Observation Mission have already reported the first incidents. The head of the observation mission of Promo-LEX, Nicolae Panfil, announced that organised transportation of voters is registered at some polling stations opened abroad.
