Woman from Dubăsarii Vechi, investigated for electoral bribery in the presidential elections
A woman from Dubăsarii Vechi, in the Criuleni district, is currently under investigation by the National Anti-corruption Center (CNA) and prosecutors for electoral bribery. This allegation involves her offering goods to influence voters to cast their votes in favor of a candidate participating in the presidential elections in autumn.
According to a press release from the CNA, law enforcement officers seized the goods involved in the crime and are investigating the source of the funds and any possible connections the woman may have with organized criminal groups that could be supporting specific political parties.
The woman is being questioned as a suspect.
