The process of the Republic of Moldova's accession to the EU and the ongoing bilateral screening will be discussed on Tuesday in Brussels
The process of accession of our country to the European Union and the bilateral screening, which is underway, will be the topics discussed at the 15th Meeting of the Parliamentary Association Committee of the Republic of Moldova - the European Union, which will take place on Tuesday, December 10, in Brussels. According to the Legislative, this is the first meeting of the CPA RM-EU since the beginning of the tenth legislative of the European Parliament.
Additionally, issues related to security and the geopolitical situation will be examined, along with the constitutional referendum and recent presidential elections held in the Republic of Moldova. Finally, members of the Parliamentary Association Committee RM-EU will adopt a final declaration that will include various recommendations.
The Delegation from the Republic of Moldova will be led by Doina Gherman, the co-chairperson of the CPA RM-EU. It will also include PAS MPs Marina Morozova, Veronica Roșca, and Petru Frunze, along with MPs from the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, Tatiana Cunețchi and Grigore Novac.
The CPA RM-EU serves as the parliamentary forum for the EU-Republic of Moldova Association Agreement. It comprises members appointed by both the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the European Parliament, who meet twice a year, alternately in Chișinău and Brussels.
