Adrian Dupu: The Romanian Government will offer the Republic of Moldova funding for development projects in the country

The Government of Romania will offer the Republic of Moldova more than 80 million lei in funding for projects to develop the country, Adrian Dupu, Secretary of State of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova, told NordNews in an interview.

"This is the largest amount the department has ever had for projects in the Republic of Moldova. Since the existence of the department, there has never been such a large amount for projects on the mission that the department has. We are glad for the opening that Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă had, that he understood the need that we have to carry out more projects leading to the consolidation of the unity of language, culture, tradition and spirituality", Adrian Dupu said.

He also said that Romania will support independent media institutions in the Republic of Moldova in 2023 in order to combat disinformation and propaganda.
