Hard times reveal true friends. Thank you, Ursula @vonderleyen and the EU, for standing with Moldova against Russia’s energy blackmail.

Grateful for the emergency response to support the Transnistrian region and for working with us on a long-term energy solution for all Moldova.
We remind you that the EU has today proposed an emergency assistance package worth €30 million to support the Republic of Moldova in addressing the energy crisis it is facing. Through this package, the EU is ready to finance the purchase and transportation of natural gas to the Transnistrian region, in order to help restore electricity and heat supply to the over 350,000 inhabitants of the region by 10 February 2025.
