Decision of the CSE: Business' gas expenses will be compensated by the government

The Exceptional Situations Commission (CSE) decided at its meeting on Tuesday 31 January to grant compensation for natural gas expenses to businesses. The statement was made to Radio Moldova by Economy Minister Dumitru Alaiba.

"The compensation will be worth 12 lei from each cubic meter consumed by entrepreneurs up to 500 cubic meters and in addition, those industries that consume more natural gas, for example bakery, can access even more. In total, the amount allocated is 230 million lei", said Dumitru Alaiba.

Economy Minister Dumitru Alaiba also said that a total of 230 million lei had been allocated and that around 10,000 companies would benefit from the compensation.
