ASP: Electric cars will have green plates
The Public Services Agency (ASP) has announced that it is going to individualize electric vehicles with special license plates, which have a white background and green symbols.
According to the institution, by introducing special registration plates for electric vehicles, the Republic of Moldova will join other countries, where the measure has already been applied for several years, such as Norway, China, Great Britain, Canada.
Also, the Government of the Republic of Moldova initiated a series of legislative changes regarding energy efficiency. One of the stated objectives is to popularize e-mobility and to encourage other traffic participants to opt for such means of transport, which have a low emission.
