The remains of a missile, originating from the air attacks of Russia against Ukraine, were discovered today in the north of the country, more precisely in the area of the Broad Border Police sector, in the Briceni district.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, measures were taken to protect the area and the Emergency Service 112, the Bombteh teams of the IGP, as well as the Briceni District Prosecutor's Office were notified. "The Border Police, together with their colleagues from the Briceni Police Inspectorate, secure the perimeter and prepare assistance for the investigation and verification teams of the Bombteh IGP and the prosecutor's office," the MAI press release states. It is the fourth case in which remnants of missiles from the bombing of Ukraine fall on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. As in the previous cases, all the necessary actions are taken, according to the procedure, by the institutions empowered with the safety and security of the citizens, says the MAI.
