Valeriu Chiveri: "The presence of President Joe Biden in Kiev prooves, once again, the solidarity of the USA with Ukraine"
The visit of American President Joe Biden to Kiev shows the attention that the United States pays to the situation in Ukraine. A statement in this sense was made by the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine, Valeriu Chiveri, in the program "La 360 de grade" from Radio Moldova. According to the diplomat, additional military aid was also announced during the visit, which Ukraine urgently needs.
"The presence of President Biden is nothing more than proving, once again, the solidarity of the USA with the Ukrainian people, with Ukraine in general, in these conditions of war. Obviously, additional military aid was also announced, which, as President Zelenski also said, will soon be felt on the battlefield," the diplomat said.
Ambassador Valeriu Chiveri also mentioned that Ukrainian society has strengthened during this year of war and now has only one goal – to resist and achieve victory. For this, the diplomat claims, the support of Western partners is necessary.
We remind you that the leader of the White House made an unannounced visit to Ukraine today. US President Joe Biden said from Kiev that the United States would provide Ukraine with additional military aid worth $500 million and said he would announce new sanctions against Russia this week.
