Daniela Morari: The Republic of Moldova must gradually move to the instruments of pre-accession to the EU
The Republic of Moldova, which obtained in June the status of a candidate country for accession to the European Union, must gradually move to pre-accession instruments, implicitly to various financing programs from European funds - said the head of the mission of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union, the ambassador Daniela Morari for the Public Broadcaster.
"We have identified with the relevant authorities a number of programs that are already at different stages of negotiations to become either an associate or a member of this European program, customs cooperation program, tax programs, digital program, health program," said the ambassador Daniela Morari. We remind you that in order to start accession negotiations, the Republic of Moldova must meet several conditions. At the November 24 meeting of the National Commission for European Integration, it was found that out of the 35 actions to be completed by the end of the current year, eight were completed. By the end of the year, 11 more are to be concluded. In all, the Plan contains 60 necessary actions in the context of granting the Republic of Moldova the status of a candidate country for the EU.
