Romania will continue to provide all the financial, economic and political assistance to be with the Republic of Moldova in these particularly difficult times, was the message sent by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu, during a meeting held, at the Palace of the Parliament, with the president Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.

"A concrete economic plan that supports Romanian investments in the Republic of Moldova is the best guarantee to generate the confidence of Moldovan citizens in the European process. The only solution in this tense regional context is the partnership with Romania to have a better life with the European family. Today we conveyed to President Maia Sandu our intention to include these measures in the future government program. In addition, I assured her that we will continue to provide all the financial, economic and political assistance to be with the Republic of Moldova in these particularly difficult times," Ciolacu wrote on his Facebook page. "I ended my working visit to Bucharest at the Palace of the Parliament, where I talked with the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu, about the support of the governing coalition in Romania for the projects intended for the Republic of Moldova, about the ways in which we can expand economic cooperation and about our efforts to maintain stability. Now, after this year of war in which Romania was a true pillar of stability for us, I am certain that we will be able to overcome all crises more easily thanks to friendship and mutual trust", wrote Maia Sandu on her Facebook account. On Thursday, February 23, the president of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, visited Romania. In the joint conference held with Maia Sandu, the Romanian president, Klaus Iohannis, reiterated his support for the Republic of Moldova Klaus and emphasized that Romania will support the sanctioning by the European Union of those who want to destabilize the Republic of Moldova and undermine the constitutional order and the rule of law.
