Digital resilience: EGA enhances EVO ecosystem with centralized emergency and social protection services

The Electronic Governance Agency (EGA) has enhanced Moldova’s flagship digital ecosystem, EVO, by centralizing all emergency and crisis assistance hotlines. Starting February 26, users can access vital services directly through a dedicated "Emergency Numbers" interface within the portal.
This update prioritizes citizen safety by streamlining access to critical resources when every second matters. The integration ensures that psychological support, anti-corruption lines, and refugee assistance are no longer scattered across various platforms but unified in one secure digital space.
A unified safety net
Nicoleta Colomeeț, Director of the Electronic Governance Agency, emphasized that providing essential information in pivotal moments is a core pillar of modern governance. The new section organizes data into clear categories, including social protection for vulnerable groups and migration support for Ukrainian citizens.
The portal now features structured access to:
Crisis Response: Emergency dispatchers and immediate psychological aid.
Social Protection: Support for victims of domestic violence and disability assistance.
Accountability: National Anti-Corruption lines and consumer protection channels.
The evolution of e-governance
Launched on January 22, 2026, the EVO portal serves as the single point of entry for all Moldovan public services. It integrates a personal cabinet for citizens, digital signature capabilities, and a comprehensive FAQ section to reduce bureaucratic friction.
By consolidating these life-saving tools, the government continues its transition toward a fully proactive digital state. The platform aims to reduce cognitive load for users in distress while maintaining a high standard of administrative transparency and efficiency.
