Maia Sandu: "The international community should increase its pressure on Russia to stop the war"
The head of state, Maia Sandu, came with a reaction, after a rocket was discovered on Monday, December 5, in the north of the country. The President strongly condemned Russia's repeated attacks on Ukrainian citizens, civilian installations and critical infrastructure.
"The international community should increase its pressure on Russia to stop the war. Only in this way can we put an end to suffering and loss of life", wrote Maia Sandu on Twitter. We remind you that, today, at around 3:15 p.m., amid the massive bombings in Ukraine, a Border Police patrol identified the place where elements of a rocket fell, in an orchard near Briceni town. The Ministry of Internal Affairs informs that, at the moment, there is no risk for citizens, as the perimeter where the incident occurred is secured by Border Police patrols.
