Heavy traffic at Sculeni, on the way out of the Republic of Moldova
Customs Service reports heavy outbound traffic at Sculeni crossing due to surge in passengers and vehicles
“The control authorities are taking measures to streamline cross-border traffic, and operations are being carried out at full capacity,” the cited source reports.
To avoid traffic jams, travellers are urged to choose in advance other border crossing points, such as Costești, Leova or Cahul.
Representatives of the Customs Service ask participants in cross-border traffic for understanding and state that they will return with updates as the situation develops.
