Border Police: in the last week, 178 people were refused entry into the country
A total of 178 foreign citizens and 62 means of transport have been refused entry to Moldova in the last week, Border Police reports.
In the period from 27 February to 5 March, 280,271 persons crossed the border at the border crossing points.
"The most "active" border was the one with Romania - 54% of the total number of crossings, while 30% of border crossings were reported at crossing points located at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and another 16% of air border crossings," Border Police informs.
The most frequently transited border crossing points were: PTF Leuseni, PTF Chisinau International Airport, PTF Sculeni, PTF Otaci and PTF Giurgiulești-Galați.
