"Whenever we revisit her works, especially this collection at the Museum of Art, it feels as if we are experiencing them for the first time. The impression they leave is so powerful that it seems like something new," says the fine artist Ghenadie Jalbă.

"These works remind us of our youth and the romanticism that filled our souls in the 70s and 80s when most of them were created. They feel incredibly fresh, as if they were painted just yesterday," mentions Igor Isac, a filmmaker and writer from Bucharest.

Monica Babuc, the director of the "M. Eminescu" Romanian Cultural Institute in Chisinau, reflects on artists' experiences during Soviet rule. She states "I think about how this talent was imposed, much like the constraints of socialist realism during that somber period. Many painters, including her, endured great hardships and suffering. Even then, she managed to persuade others, and I believe it was solely due to her truly extraordinary talent."
