The political situation in the country, security developments in the region and the bilateral agenda between the Republic of Moldova and Poland were the topics discussed by President Maia Sandu during the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in our country, Tomasz Kobzdej.

She thanked the ambassador for Poland's contribution to our country's modernization projects and said that we want closer cooperation in priority sectors such as agriculture and transport, as well as a more effective partnership in the field of public order.

Maia Sandu also underlined the importance of the political support that Poland is giving us within the European institutions, as well as for our support on the road to EU membership.
